'Old Jock', Scottish Highlander, World War 1

This is 'Old Jock' a veteran Scottish Infantryman of the British Army during the early stages of the Great War. He'll have seen service in South Africa or anywhere within the British Empire. The Regular Army fought the German War Machine to a standstill in the Autumn of 1914. We remeber the First Battle of Ypres in particular.

This sculpture is dedicated to the men of the BEf without whom the Great War would have been lost.

This sculpture is finished in cold cast bronze resin in a 'Victoria Cross' colour, similar to the colour of all the commonwealth war memorials you see in most British Towns and Villages.

Please remember that we offer a free engraved plate and therefore you may like to remember a family member who served in the trenches nearly 100 years ago.
