'Duty Calls'. A Regimental Bugler calls forward the Battalion Reserves during an attack in Flanders. This is a lovely World War One statue asnd is a fitting tribute to all our forebears that served during World War 1. This is the cold cast bronze version and we offer this wooden base and an engraved brass plate as standard.
We are commemorating the 100th Anniversary of World War One with a collection of our finest military sculptures and this the fourth sculpture in the collection and it depicts a Commonwealth Soldier on the Western Front. The Battalion are going 'over the top' each man fullly loaded with assault equipment and ammunition. Our sculpture depicts a bugler sounding out to his comrades to bear witness to the attack and to follow on behind.
This sculpture is finished in cold cast bronze resin in a 'Victoria Cross' colour, similar to the colour of all the commonwealth war memorials you see in most British Towns and Villages.
Please remember that we offer a free engraved plate and therefore you may like to remember a family member who served in the trenches nearly 100 years ago.
