This is the eleven inch scale Fire and Rescue Service presentation is a sculpture of the 1891 'Saved' Fireman of Victorian Era painted by Charles Vigour which is displayed in the Fire Heritage Centre which is part of the Fire Service College at Moreton-in-Marsh. It depicts the classice pose of a victorian fireman carrying an unconsious girl from a burning building. On the back of the steps is written the first verse of the Fireman's prayer:

When I am called to duty God,

Where-ever flames may rage,

Give me strength to save some life,

What ever be it's age.

The sculpture is very popular within the British Fire and Rescue Service as a retirement gift for colleagues. They are a great reminder of service and will be cherished for years to come. We include a optional fully engraved brass plate on the wooden base which has up to three lines of engraved text.

We are very used to making up farewell figurines from colleagues, members of a fire station watch, from the fire station you work at or simply from your family and loved ones.

All our statues include an optional engraved plate on the wooden base. On the bronze statues the plate is jewellers brass and the pewter/ silver statues have a nickel silver plate.

To add a plate to your statue please select the option above and enter your engraving details. Please note if the engraving is left blank no plate will be included. If you'd like a blank plate please write this in the engraving details.

Please DOUBLE CHECK the engraving as mistakes will require a new plate to be made.

On the engraving the text will be centred and the font sized to fit the plate.
